On January 18th, I embarked on my first solo trip to Southeast Asia. I split Thailand and Cambodia evenly, staying 3 days in each country. The first day I arrived in Thailand, I booked a half day noon tour for the Grand Palace. It was strikingly beautiful, so many intricately carved, architecturally pleasing, and so grandiose. Everything was colourful, gold, and beautiful. Despite the temperature being near 40 degrees and a lot of pushy asian tourists everywhere, I enjoyed taking all the palace sights in and photographing them. It was one of the most amazing places I've been to in my life to say to least. Definitely a must visit when in Bangkok.
