THAILAND BANGKOK 2016: Bang Pa-In Summer Palace

On day 2 of Thailand, I booked a full day tour to explore the Old City and some other sights. The summer palace was the first stop, and where the royal family in Thailand came every summer or holiday to stay in. It was a very bright, beautiful, and serene complex and my favourite building was the multicoloured tower that oversaw a large lake. There was always a Chinese themed palace that was all red with many artifacts and historical objects inside. Definitely worth the 40 degree weather and being forced to change into "proper" Thai clothing since my outfit was deemed "non-appropriate" for palace standards.
