It was unbelievably busy during both night and day. It was a shock to my system especially after being in a quiet, small town for a the past month. There were SO many food stalls, things to eat, places to shop, stuff to do that it was too overwhelming...in a kind of bad way that I was getting anxious about what to do! Not to mention, cars and people share the same road and some motorcyclists literally do NOT stop for pedestrians and look like they don't mind if they hit you. Hongdae was packed to the max even after 3am. I went clubbing here 2 nights and it was crazy...although beautiful and bustling with things to do, I'm glad I don't live in Seoul long term!
Went to Hello Kitty Cafe in Hongdae district, which was literally a few minutes walk from where we were staying!! I had such a dreamy time in there, surrounded by pink cushions and wall decors. Korea's themed cafes are truly unbeatable, and this was my favourite part of my little weekend getaway!
The first area I went to in Seoul was Itaewon! I went for a little walk and shopping while waiting for my friend to finish getting her hair done. It was so beautiful, pristine, and everything was so cute. I really enjoyed this area for its cleanness, spring vibes and so much things to buy!
