YellowStone National Park 2013: Norris Geyser Basins + Bison Sightings

By Cathy H - 3:15 PM

At dusk on the first day we began seeing alot of bisons that would walk beside traffic, and even though wildlife warnings deemed them dangerous they just seemed to mind their own business! Went to the Norris Basins which was my first glimpse of the famous series of geysers that make up 2/3 of the world's Volcanic features in the park. Everything was so aquamarine and it felt like some kind of ethereal animated world. It was all very surreal and definitely amazing to photograph!
