Today's the anniversary when me and my bff first legit hung out and got to know each other. A year ago we went sea wall biking, ate Greek food and macaroons together while talking about alot of nice philosophical things. Today we went to the Aritzia Sale and Victoria Secret grand opening an grabbed some healthy Whole Foods! Than we became more and more close to the point of spending everyday together, made an album together of everything we did, probably had sleepovers more often than we slept in our own bed. Got into alot of sketchy situations and crazy times clubbing and coming home than waking up at crazy hours. Whined at the terrible school days with minus degree weather and rain as well as cheered at break when we made checklists of things to do,bake and traveling plans.
This is the first friend I met in my life that sticks true to their words and does not flake. Often times people say they love and miss you but will never make the time or effort to meet and spend time together but we really mean that we like each other by almost hanging out everyday! We even went to Montreal together for a month- my first trip with friends. Some people are meant to stay in your life and we always get told we are sisters or look alike. She is another person I'm sure we were both predestined to meet each other! I think the reason we get along so well is we're both very drama free and don't let people mess with us. We are strong minded and always stick to the plan, we know there's alot of things in life to accomplish and never stress over insignificant people or events. We're here to make everyday count! Here's to many more years to come.
Life is good, let 'em know! xx
Did subtle curls at bottom instead of crazy volume like I always did, and I like it! I feel like curls actually make my hair seem longer..especially when tied up o.O Also it makes ombre hair stand out more in the sun! Anyway, went to a job interview (which I got) and hanging with my Montreal friends I went on the trip with! Going to Yellowstone tomorrow until next Friday so excited to take more photography! hope everyone is having a great rest of the summer :)

Sometimes you meet someone and everything you ever thought about what it would be like is thrown out the window. Getting that slight glimpse takes you by surprise until they take up a bigger and bigger part of them in your mind. Sometimes it doesn't matter what other people say about them, you just know what they mean to you. There are negative sides to everything, but you choose to only divulge yourself in their optimism. These people that make you feel alive and glad to have lived to this day inside are never the people you expect, but they sure do make you question whether fate is working on your side. I believe life is 50/50 random occurrences and predetermined destiny. Maybe we were predestined to meet everyone we were supposed to, and like a train- some ride with you to the very last stops while others get off in a few stops. Just because you don't see that person everyday or even talk doesn't mean you forget them after their stop. I think we carry a small piece of everyone we meet within us, they make you glad to be alive. Give you something to look back to, someone to wish the best for in terms of their well being and success. I just find it funny some things happen in such a precise right time and location...it's like something bigger than us is watching over and working their charm. It's people like this that make you question why we all worry and calculate minuscule details and upsettings like a dead end. I often find myself looking back at all the people I've known and just know they were presented to me for the reason I needed the most, in the time I needed the most. I think...it's incredible how all these small happenings work their way up to bringing someone that becomes your soulmate/best friend till the end.
This bridge is one of the few wooden ones that cars can across to the other side! It felt a bit like the Grand Canyon Glasswalk because underneath the wires was space so I felt like I was about to fall each time I stepped forward. I just loved this environment, so green and no trace of other inhabitants at all! I made legit S'mores at night even though it started monsooning and it tasted amazing!! Definitely rate this place 10/10 :)
Finally posting these pics up from my trip at the end of July! Went here right after Montreal, it was a great atmosphere and I loved marinating the BBQ foods in the kitchen..I think that's one of my major highlights. I think I'm just being a chef on vacation everywhere, haha. Anyways, there was a small trail in the back yard that lead to this lovely creek, it's so ~*zen*~ and quiet. Everything in the house was so antique and well put together, I remember staying up till 1am every night in the attic bedroom I had reading Murakami's Kafka on Shore. Catching up on reading in the woods is great :D
