We probably went to Old Montreal everyday until the last week because it had the most European vibe and French food incuding the famous Montreal Poutine and Mussels with Fries! A few years ago I was here and it feels wierd standing on the same spot after I've grown up so much.

Went to check out the Museums which offered rich French history and a variety of European paintings. Than met up a friend and went to eat at Old Montreal's Jacques Cartier Square, a walk by the docks of Old Port and finished with a IMAX movie on Sharks (even though we were 30 minutes late & only saw 10 minutes). Loved it!

Got off our plane and straight to our new place. It is so close to Old Montreal/Old Port which is fortunate because Saint Laurent Boulevard is where everything happens! The moment I stepped in the house I totally fell in love because it was just like I imagined. Very antique and a nice Victorian feeling, you wont find these types of houses in Vancouver. It reminds me of a European loft with alot of personalization such as the red cabinets and furniture as well as interior design. I love everything vintage and European feeling so I am very happy with the place we got! After some cleaning and sorting out, we went to see the fireworks as it was Canada's Day. The first thing I noticed is how LIVELY Montreal is compared to Vancouver..everybody's out at night and looking for ways to socialize. The first day ended on a nice note!

All packed up and ready to head to airport in 2 hours and its 3am..it's so hot and humid all I'm doing is listening to trance and being excited. Something about the night before vacations is very magical, it's like you are "alive" again after days of mundane-ness. Also, there isn't anyone else I'd go with than my best friend, everything just worked out perfect!  Cheers to a great July ahead :)
