DUBAI, UAE TRIP 2017: BIRTHDAY AT PALM ATLANTIS, BURJ AL ARAB, COVE BEACH CLUB

By Cathy H - 3:10 PM

I spent my birthday in the Palm Jumeriah area, first going to aqua adventures park at Palm Atlantis. We took a monorail so I managed to capture a picture of this iconic building. I'd say this is one of the most scenic beach vacations I have been to. I got a free pass to the waterpark since it was my birthday, and got to experience a few rides & took some nice photographs on the private beach. The Leap of Faith still got me shooken when I think of it. Than, we proceeded to Cove Beach Club RIGHT besides Burj Al Arab, the iconic only 7 star hotel in the world. It happened to be girl's day so we got lunch and drink for only 100AED a person. The club was immaculate but the music could have been better.
Than, we took a nice sunset walk to photograph the Burj Al Arab and Jumeriah Beach hotel- it was the perfect view. Everything felt surreal. To actually see these 2 hotels in real life.

On a side note, I feel that the assumption of women here being treated like second class citizens to extremely FALSE.  I felt catered to more than anywhere else in the world here, whether it be drinks at the club, or an women's and children's only cart on the metro, to ladies day every single day of the week in Dubai. I only experienced this in Vegas. I felt very safe in Dubai and felt that there were many privileges for females here, at least for expats to enjoy.
